Hot Days and Rainy Aftanooon

Weev been having hot days and today it rained.  Mum went out for Sunday and was gone all day monday and came home on tuusday.  today she went out with her Mum and she came home when it was raining. She came home with bags of things and was happy. 

Its time for Mum to decorate the house again with chrissmassy things... I like it when its all like that. but this time shes decorating outside too. what fun!

Hot Days and hot nites

it's been very hot for a while. mums been good and not covered me up at night just letting me sleep in just my cage and thats it. but last night was fun! we played the tree leg game. she put her leg on the coffee tabul and she put me on it and i ran up and down her leg. then she tipped her drink over a bit and i thought to try to have a bath. and then she got my spray bottle and she sprayed me while i spinned round on her leg and got all wet. it was fun!
after kissing me on my head she put me on my cage and i dried my fethers and i put myself to bed. but it was still a hot night.

We Are Home

Yestaday Mum and me came home. Her Dad came and picked us up from her brothers house and we drove all around the place. there was so much to do yestaday.

we even went to a party where a lady opened all presents and they were for a baby but the baby wasnt there. i thawth thats strange. anyway, Mum gave them something too and they loved what she knitted for them. it was so much fun talking to all the new peeple there and they thought i was cute becawse im blue.
Mum and her dad and me took off soon tho because it was getting late and mum was tired. and we were home soon. I was so excited to see our place i called to the otha birdies to tell them i was back. now the radio and fishies know im back too becawse the radios talking to me again. 

i know the tv knows i'm back it talked to me last night.

Mum's Buzy Weekend

Last week we had the phone line cut by one phone compny and they expected anotha phone compny to fix it. so it took all week to get that fixt.  While Mum kept herself occupied she was reading, cleening the house and playing lots of music and she was talking to me a lot too.

Then Friday came and she went out overnight. she was gone all day and came home in the morning. it was soo good to see her. but she didnt stay for long, just to open the front window and to get her things for the gallery. but she was home that afternoon. she had an early night  beccause she was tired.

today she did the washing and played music and did a lot of painting right into the night. not much was on television. she watched an old movie she doesnt normmally watch and has gone upstairs. it's been a good weekend of music, movies and cuddles. she has had a busy one and i have enjoy the cuddles and flying around the house.

Very Hot day yesterday

Yesta day was very hot. Mum had my spray bottle by my cage all day and was spraying water on me every few hours. it was lovely she did that becawse i felt very hot even with the window open and the fan on. she wasnt going too good either. she spent a lot of the day sitting around reading becawse her computa got too hot.

then, she painted and read another big thick book while she drank a bottle of soft drink and water and then made herself an ice coffee and listen to music on her headphones.

before going to bed last night and after closing up everything Mum sprayed water on me while I was in bed on my swing. i'm happy when she does that on hot nights like last night. becaws she knows it helps me sleep.

Very Hot Days

Its been getting hotter in the days. the otha week Mum got the big fan out and put it togetha and put it on and it made the house nice and cool. and now when she is upstairs she turns it on for me so i am not sutck in a hot house. it feels nice and cool.

my eye is betta now. she sprayed me a few times with water and it got betta. and now my winter feathers are almost gone and its easy to fly round the place and i'm drinking a lot of water too. its been very hot during tha day. but Mum keeps the window open so a wind comes in for me. she is really good to me a night when it gets too hot. she sprays me and i like it.

Hot Day and Sore Eye

I'm moulting and I find this itchy. sometimes when I scratch I get myself in the eye and this year isnt any different. I did that and Mum noticed. when i first did it, she panicked and tried to put some water through it but I didnt like that. so the next time she saw me like this, sheleft me alone and just rubbed around my eye so that i didnt have to scratch and it felt good.

today she did something fun and sprayed me with water to cool me off from the really hot day and some of the water got into my eye and made it feel beter. i love my Mum!

Attacked!

Today was nice and hot and sunny. Mum went out in thebackyard to go andread a book and took me with her. She put my cage on the big white table where I felt the wind and sun on my feathers. but not for long! Lots of big mean birds attacked my cage! I was very scared and moved to the bottom my cage as theyr yellow eyes stared at me and they jumped all over my cage trying to get through! Mum jumped up and grabbed a long green pole from the garden and yelled at them swinging it around. after a little while they didnt come back! but Mum couldnt read becawse she was worried about me... and she gave me a spray with my water bottle too; this helped me be happy in the sun for a little while.

It was good to get back inside nice and safe from the mean birdies who would hurt me if I lived in the outside world; I mean, where would Mum be then? I wouldnt be safe out there, would I?

Over Night Stay!

Mum and me stayed overnight at her mum and dads.  It was fun with Jay the dog and two fishes this time. The fishes are Rileys and Mum looked after all of us really good. 

Jay was looking for everyone, but Mum was great with her patting her and talking to the fish all day and coming out to see me on the freezer while I looked outside to the day. she made sure I wasnt left out. then made sure I wasnt cold by closing the window. boy! was it hot! We left the windows open as much as we could before going to bed.

today everyone was fed this morning and mum went for a walk and came back with milk. she hung around with us listening to the radio and on the computer until her mum and dad came back. Jay was so excited about that she barked! We came home and I sang to the other birdies here telling them where I had been. but i'm really tired even tho i had a good sleep at the other house; i think mum is tired too.

Sunny Busy Day

Mum was around the house today carrying her clothes around and hanging them on the line out the back.  While she did that, the sun was hot. The radio was on and I took a bath in my drinking water. She didnt see me do it but thowght it was funny when she got back to see me.  

She gave me my big bath but I didn't want it. while she talked to her mum on the phone, they began laughing about somethng on a bottle and then she took the bath out and went upstairs.

This afternoon, she came back down with wet hair, read a book outside, pulled in the clothes and carried them upstairs. Mum does carries a lot of her clothes around and I fnd that funny and strange. We watched some old movies on dvd she enjoyed and she went for a walk before turning out the lights.
