Wirking With Mum!

This week has been rainy and cold and Mum has been home the whole time! she was even here today wirking on her glewy book at the table while music played. but today it was nice and warm and sunny. this was a change from the otha days of wet cold and rainy.

Mum was supposssd to go to the gallery to wirk but her book was too wet to do anaything with when she was finishd with it so she stayed here with me. isnt that cool?

she got a phone call when she turned on the tv for afternoon tea and one of the ladies at the gallery were calling too see how herwirk went today. she told her and said she had more to do. i'm so happy she is gonna be wirking on it more tomorrow. 

mum's also making pancakes tomorrow because she put some powdery stuff into a bowl on tha counter and covered it over. i love the smell of pancakes.

New Talking Box!

Today Mum went out with her Dad promising to be home soon.  and she was! they came home with a big thin box! she moved the lounge and coffee table and all the things off that and put a towel on it and her dad attacht something on to it and they fiddled with the old talking colour box, then pulled it out of the cabinet and put it off to one side.

you see last night our talking box wasnt working beccause the box that the chanels came through were stuffing up. so Mum called her parents and suggested maybe its time to get a new channel thingy. so today, when Mums prize from the radio station came in themail, her Dad took her out and they found her a new talking box instead. this talking box was bigger, and replaced her old one and the box on top that has the chanels coming through it.

tonight mum spent all night stuffing around with the settings because it was really bright. now we both have headaches and she has covered me over and shes ready for bed. we're going to give away her old talkign box and chanel box to charity. i'm tirednow.

It's Almost Krismas!

My head is feeling much betta, but i'm very hungry all the time now and Mum calls me a guts. i guess i am. Mum's been flying me around the room and nearly each time some of my feathers fall out. its funny.

last week the fishies came and lived with us. they are Riley's fishies and Mum had to go and buy them new food and came home with something for their tank. when she put a new big castle in, she didnt know if they would like it but i did! after a while they began swimming around it and having fun! i think the fish are kind of stupid because they do the same thing all day. 

today is cold. we had a bit of a storm last night and it got cold last night. Mum put my covers over me and kept me warm and she gave me plenty of cuddles, just like i like it. today she kept the doors and windows closed. the day was sunny but now its cloudy again. she will come downstairs again today and use the weird white machine on the table. i like seeing her because shes my owner and i love her.

Mum's Birthday!

Mum had her birthday this week. She has been getting presents for the last few days and showing me them and cakes too. She went out in the middle of the week to her Mum and Dads place and spent the day there and came home with a really big box. And today she went out and came home with lots of books from somebody she knew. And a few days ago before her birthday, she got more presents in the mail for her birthday. Mum got lots of books for her birthday. It was very nice of her friends to send her so many nice things! And she spent a lot of time with me too.

Then on her birthday night the light upstairs went out and she had to change the bulb. Mum hates heights but she did it anywya. After she did it she gave me a big cuddle. i think she needed it so I nibbled her nose and let her know she was okay.

Leaves!

Yesterday Mum got her dad to cut some branches off a big tree in the back yard that was hanging over the fence. When he cut it she cut some of the top bits off and saved them for me! 

Jay the dog was here running around the place and sniffing the carpet and around the house and out in the grass while Mum's dad cut the branches. Jay had a lot of fun. After Jay and Mum's dad left, Mum brought in the branches and put them in my cage where I ran raound and rubbed my fethersagainst them! Mum picked me up and smelled them saying I smelled like a wild birdie! but I missed my birdie friend in the mirror, so Mum took the branches out and put my mirror back in my cage before bed and snuggled up to her. what a fun afternoon!

It's Getting Cold!

This morning, Mum pulled my covers off me after changing my food and water and I didn't want to get out of bed.  So, I stuck my head back in my feathers as I sat on the perch in the sun.  She didnt  get it I wanted to go back tosleep. but she went out and left me in the warm sun all day and came home with lots of things from the outside! More than I usualy seen!
Before she went out, she gave me a new millet spray! Oh! she knows I love millet! I ate that all morning and then chewd on newspapa and drank some nice water. by the time I did all that she was home.

Early Christmas Presents

Yesterday, Mum went out to do some shopping.  She said she'd be home when she can.  When she left, it rained a lot and I was looking out at it while I munched on my millet.  I love millet.  I also at some of my seed; just so she is happy with me.

When she got home, she put a bag next to my cage and pulled out a white box with something inside it.  Mum was smiling as she pulled opened the box and there on a blue ball was my name in glitter!  Mum had bought me a cool Christmas ornament!  How fun is that?  She hung it in the tree so I can look at it all the time next some lights.  I like it a lot.

She Caught Me...

At first, I hated the big black thing next to my cage.  But when my owner put it there, it scared me. It was bigger than the last one we had; and I wanted it nowhere near me.  While she was out one day, I thought that sussing it out couldn't hurt. So, I climbed all over that side of my cage and looked through the bars... it didn't act mean and had one word on it. And from what my owner had called it, it's named Sony. 

Then, each time my owner was either upstairs or out, I tried to be nice to the black thing called Sony. The other day, my owner found me out.  I jumped on it to see how mean it could be to me; and forgot she didn't no I was meant to hate it.

Oops...

So, last night, she got her camera out and filmed me.  I hate that camera. Now, it's on YouTube; from what I hear.

New Things In The House

A few days ago, my owner brought in a really big box through the side door.  It was so big her Mum had to help her with it. They put it on the floor and left it there for a while.  Then, she came downstairs and opened it and began building the things inside it.  The first thing was a really big speaker with a hole in the front; which she put next to me.  Then, she put some others together that stood up on their own.

The sunwas down when she tried it out and she found when she turned on the this new thing, the picture on the television wasn't in colour. Her Dad came to help and they ended up making a phone call and then it was fixed. She showed me the things that stood up on their own and I found I could see the other birdie in them... how cool is that?  Another birdie in the new things in the house.  My owner is very cool.  She told me they are speakers; but I know they are just big mirrors for me to look at.
