Not Long Now!

Mum went out reely early this morning leaving me with the dumb fishies. all they do is swim around in all that water and chase each other around the castle. I have my friend in the mirror and she's nice to talk to. 

before I knew it mum was back and she had bags of things with her of things that were for Krismas. she said it was all done and ready for sunday. i'm glad she doesn't like going out to the stores a lot at this time of year because it means she doesnt like crowds too much. but tomorrow she will be out again to do Krismas shopping for food. i cant wait for her to come home from that!

It's Almost Krismas!

My head is feeling much betta, but i'm very hungry all the time now and Mum calls me a guts. i guess i am. Mum's been flying me around the room and nearly each time some of my feathers fall out. its funny.

last week the fishies came and lived with us. they are Riley's fishies and Mum had to go and buy them new food and came home with something for their tank. when she put a new big castle in, she didnt know if they would like it but i did! after a while they began swimming around it and having fun! i think the fish are kind of stupid because they do the same thing all day. 

today is cold. we had a bit of a storm last night and it got cold last night. Mum put my covers over me and kept me warm and she gave me plenty of cuddles, just like i like it. today she kept the doors and windows closed. the day was sunny but now its cloudy again. she will come downstairs again today and use the weird white machine on the table. i like seeing her because shes my owner and i love her.

Sore Head

a few days ago Mum noticed my head was bleeding. silly me I scratched it hard and made it bleed. so she put some cold water on it and with a cotton bud in the bathroom. wow! that was cold! but then, she got some salt water because it didnt stop bleeding, and it really hurt my head. she got really worried and quiet. the light hurt my eyes for while and she held me close.

I'm okay now. my head still hurts a bit, but its better. its not bleeding anymore and Mum clipped my toenails. She thinks its because I'm moulting and the tips on my feathers are making me itch. she is so good to me. she even checked my head today and my head is still red and sore but not bleeding.

Very Hot Days

Its been getting hotter in the days. the otha week Mum got the big fan out and put it togetha and put it on and it made the house nice and cool. and now when she is upstairs she turns it on for me so i am not sutck in a hot house. it feels nice and cool.

my eye is betta now. she sprayed me a few times with water and it got betta. and now my winter feathers are almost gone and its easy to fly round the place and i'm drinking a lot of water too. its been very hot during tha day. but Mum keeps the window open so a wind comes in for me. she is really good to me a night when it gets too hot. she sprays me and i like it.

Hot Day and Sore Eye

I'm moulting and I find this itchy. sometimes when I scratch I get myself in the eye and this year isnt any different. I did that and Mum noticed. when i first did it, she panicked and tried to put some water through it but I didnt like that. so the next time she saw me like this, sheleft me alone and just rubbed around my eye so that i didnt have to scratch and it felt good.

today she did something fun and sprayed me with water to cool me off from the really hot day and some of the water got into my eye and made it feel beter. i love my Mum!

New Millet!!!

Mum went out today to the shopping centre and bought us food. When she came home she said she bought me something speshel, and she did! Mum bought me two different kinds of Millet! There's the fuzzy kind of Millet that's short and weird and I like it because it makes me sneeze but I haven't had that one before. and then theres the other kind of millet i've never seen before! she got me out of the cage and put some on top of it and i ate it all! It was was very crunchy and I ran around eating it all! Yumm!

Mum's Getting Better!

I know she is! she is sleeping thru the night and not coughing like a doggy anymore.. okay she sounds a bit like onebut not all the time. shehas a lot more energy and talks to me more. i'm pleesed she went to sea the human vets to sea what was wrong and get something to help her.

She has also called the place she normally goes to work and told them she is too sick to work this week so she doesnt give it to sumbody else and this is good of her. Im so proud of her for doing this. I just hope she gets rid of this soon so she can celebrate our halloweeeen together. I like it when she gets the lollies all done up for the kids and dresses up.

Mum's Sick!

Mum has been having breathing problems. But unlike me, she cant get a cotton budd and clear away the problem and it'll go away. She has caught a bug from somebody. Late late last night, she came downstairs and took some panadol and went back to bed and left her reading lamp on all night.

This morning the curtains were opened very late in the day, but Mum has this horrible cough. she looks okay and I really wanted to cuddle her and make sure shes okay but she wouldnt let me too close. Mum doesnt want me sick too. 

tonight she let me run along her leg and she chatted to me while we watched Merlin and she knew that I was worried about her. but I know she will go and see the human vets as soon as she can because she is starting to cough like a dog and that's not good.

Loud Rain

We have been getting a lot of loud and dark rainy days. One morning we woke to a loud clouds outside and Mum came downstairs really early. she went out and got some milk and it got darker and darker and abig storm came and there was a lot of rain with a lot of water! there was so muchwater it was at our door wher Mum takes the big purple bags outside. she wasnt happy and took a lot of photos.

a few days later her Mum went out with her and ther was anotha loud cloudy day with a lot of rain and a big storm came. and Mum's Mum stayed to help her with the water and they both got wet and cold. it was something to see. today its another cloudy day and Mum says its cold outside and has kept my window closed. but I know becawse i cant hear my birdy friends talking out there, i know its going to rain again soon.

Mum's Birthday!

Mum had her birthday this week. She has been getting presents for the last few days and showing me them and cakes too. She went out in the middle of the week to her Mum and Dads place and spent the day there and came home with a really big box. And today she went out and came home with lots of books from somebody she knew. And a few days ago before her birthday, she got more presents in the mail for her birthday. Mum got lots of books for her birthday. It was very nice of her friends to send her so many nice things! And she spent a lot of time with me too.

Then on her birthday night the light upstairs went out and she had to change the bulb. Mum hates heights but she did it anywya. After she did it she gave me a big cuddle. i think she needed it so I nibbled her nose and let her know she was okay.
