Windy Days

We have been having windy dsays but the sun has been out too. Mum takes my covers off me and pulls the curtain back the sun is lovely and warm on my feathers all day long!  

Then I get and talk to the birdy in the mirror and feed her too and play under the newspaper until Mum comes down from upstairs to do house stuff and read outside in the wind. All day the radio has been talking to me and playing music, but it isthe same stuff all the time and it gets boring. I try to tell it, but it ignores me.

Mum has been putting on her black shiny things the play music and singing to them while she paints. I like Mum's music. it's different. the sun is nice and warm now, I'm going to play in it and saty warm today.

Reely Cold Weekend

I had a night at Mum's parents house. and boy! was it cold!  She went out and had a great time with friends and her Mum and Dad went out too, but they made sure i was toasty and put my covers on me and left the heater on becawse their hosue gets cold.

When they got home they saw I had eatin dinner without htem but I couldnt find my mirror. I looked everywhere for it. It was in my cage at Mums house but when I got here I couldnt find it.  i felt so lonely without it. then in the morning, Mum's Mum found in the floor of my cage and put it up!  My birdie friend had come back! I was so pleesed I had a party singing and running arond the cage! Soon tho I was takin back to Mum's house where she gave me lots of cuddles and I bit her for not taking me out with her. But she forgave me. 

Not Warm Enuff

Its been getting colder each night and Mum's really good at taking care of me. She puts all my covers on me early and closes up the house so it gets all nice and warm.

But during the day when the sun comes in i'm finding its not warm enough. Mum knows this and most times comes and gives me lots of cuddles, then pulls the curtains because the sun goes away and hides behind lots of clouds. 

She is soo cool my mum when I get lots of cuddles in her hands and she chatters to me in birdy language, but she doesnt make any sense. Its jsut words. Isnt she cute?

Sun is out again.

Its been really cold at night, but Mum's had that covered with me by getting me a new cover at the shop. So now I'm nice and toastiar than ever!  Now its been getting colder in the aftanoon, Mum covers me early and pulls the curtins and puts pegs in the centre join so it keeps the cold out. 

I'm glad she does that because then, I sleep warmer. And I think she has been keeping the bathroom window shut too. How nice is that? We've had some nice warm sun, and Mum took a cool foto of us together. Isnt it nice to have photo of us together?

Toastie Budgie!

It's been realy cold for a while. the clouds are dark and the sun is hiding from us. Winta is here and Mum has kept me nice and warm from it. She even went out on shopping day and bought me anotha piece of flannel to put over the front of my cage so it keeps out the breeze!  Then, just becawse she loves me, she bought baby spinach too!  I got a nice big peec when she came home after she let me have a fresh piece of millet! 

How good is that!  I love my Mum! 

Winter!

I know it's Winta because Mum has been keaping my covers on my cage longer so I can sleep in.  The sun is nice and warm all day and Mum gives me lots of cuddles and millet all day long. HOw good is that? 

At night, I get the covers put on earlier and the curtains are pulled when the sun isnt around anymore and Mum puts on warm coat. She is always making sure I'm warm and cosy and back door is closed for me. Isnt that great? yes, Winta is a good time for me to nice and warm.

So Cold!

It has been very cold this week and it's really cold in this room. Mum has been keepping my covers on me longer in the mornings cause the sun doesnt come out when it used to. But she has been changing my food early so I can eat when I want to and knows when I get cold in the afternoons. Im getting more millet this week too. I love millet, did I tell you that? I think I did. I'm going to sleep now,  thisroom is too cold to stay in.

Cold MOrnings

In the mornings Mum has been getting me up when I want to stay in bed. She is all dressed in warm things and her hands are cold sometimes when she pulls up the covers and looks in to change my food and water. i'm always on my swing when she does that. 

The other day she put the camera inside the cage and i wasn't in a good mood. she thought it was funny took a photo of me.  I wish she didn't do that. I look at the picture now and I look really mad.

It's Getting Cold!

This morning, Mum pulled my covers off me after changing my food and water and I didn't want to get out of bed.  So, I stuck my head back in my feathers as I sat on the perch in the sun.  She didnt  get it I wanted to go back tosleep. but she went out and left me in the warm sun all day and came home with lots of things from the outside! More than I usualy seen!
Before she went out, she gave me a new millet spray! Oh! she knows I love millet! I ate that all morning and then chewd on newspapa and drank some nice water. by the time I did all that she was home.
